Who We Are

History

A Rich Heritage in
Educational Excellence

lecampvs.ch, lecampus.ch, campvs.ch, Swiss school alliance, Buissonnets Montani, the international school of Sion, Verbier international school

L’École des BUISSONNETS was founded in 1928 by the Sisters of the Holy Cross of Ingenbohl with an educational approach
inspired by Maria Montessori.

Corinna Bille, who was among the first graduates, wrote in 1974: ‘I will always keep a moved and grateful memory
of that time, for it was the only school where I felt truly happy.’”

Founded in 1965 by Gabriel Montani, l’École MONTANI has upheld impeccable teaching standards from the outset.

Its learning method has evolved year after year, based on the need for an education that is both rigorous and dynamic. Its approach quickly became valued by those seeking a private school education with personalized attention, where teachers and staff fully commit themselves to providing students with
constant support and guidance.

BUISSONNETS MONTANI

The merger of the two entities was particularly fitting as the DNA and unique characteristics of each are preserved. There’s no need to change two winning teams. BUISSONNETS MONTANI, therefore, maintain the strong  capitalization of values and image of each of the two private schools, which represent nearly a century and a half of history. BUISSONNETS MONTANI offer a “secondary education II” section specific to L’École des BUISSONNETS and a “mandatory schooling” section specific to L’École MONTANI. Two schools, two sections, one identity.
